29th Annual Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire 2005

(PRWEB) October 3, 2005 -- The North Bay's largest Gift Fair, the 29th Annual Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire opens Friday of Thanksgiving weekend. The Faire runs for three weekends: November 25-27, December 3-4 and 10-11 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. Featuring over 250 vendors, the Faire is an attractive and enjoyable shopping experience and a great alternative to mall and big box department stores. The Faire offers an opportunity to shop and support local artisans, crafters, merchants and business people, while supporting our local community. The family-friendly atmosphere, one stop shopping, and spirited entertainment makes gift shopping easy and fun.

The Faire features:

There is about a one-third changeover in booths each weekend and the selection of gifts and products will be varied.

The Faire offers an engaging family atmosphere with beautiful holiday decorations and a parade of seasonal costumed characters. The younger attendees will enjoy Santa's Workshop, where children can make arts & crafts gifts, or take photos with Santa.

A much loved feature of the Faire is our ongoing live local holiday entertainment featuring a diverse array of performers including community based choirs, children's shows, variety acts and local bands performing Jazz, Celtic, Folk, Country, Latino and multi-cultural music of the season. The younger attendees will enjoy a variety of "Children's Holiday Shows" including puppet shows, clowns and many fun and enchanting holiday costumed characters.

Fair hours are 10 am - 6 pm every day. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $2.00 for seniors and children (ages 6-12), children 5 and under are free.
